Re: Dog wont get off bed

Hi Kaye, we have a dog gate onto living room as we have no door just an arch, but need to shut them in at night for the cat to have a run of house its only a bungalow so no stairs or landing we can put him on, thanks

Re: Dog wont get off bed

We have tried kitchen Kay, but as they have never been apart he goes crazy wont be quiet, and i have very old people next door, its our fault we have always had them with us , we should have started it at beginning when we got them , they both have bad seperation problems and we cant even leave them in to go shopping or anywhere they come too, but i do know its though our own fault not theirs, but this wont get off the bed i will have to get tougher i think, only one does it and its only been for a few days so hopefully can stop it before he thinks its his right as none are allowed on bed, thanks Kay for help

Re: Dog wont get off bed

No to big for crates and they have never been in any, they are loved as much as can be, they spend 24 hrs a day with us so not short of love at all, we are retired so have all the time in the world to love them and the cats, thank you.

Re: Dog wont get off bed

I meant just at that moment in time. Mine are fussier on the morning but calm down a lot after that. Maybe now hes found out that you have been hogging a nice soft bed all this time he just wants some for himself. He may just grow out of it. Id just reward him lots when hes not on the bed and hes in his own.
