Why is she messing?

I own 2 Northern Inuits and Shila the eldest is 9 months old and is fully house trained we got her a friend as to reduce the seperation anxiety when we leave her as in go out for a meal see friends etc, it doesn't happen often but it is nice to go out once in a while.
When she was on her own she used to pee n poo everywhere in the hallway and just generally freak out so when we got Isis I thought this problem would go. Well it kind of has apart from the peeing and pooing she still does it, I know its Shila as Isis is a bit snobby when it comes to messing in the house as in she just wont do it, we have been out to visit a friend both dogs were kept in the hallway, they went out for 30 mins before we left, they had water and were both given HUGE bones to keep them occupied while we were out, we came back after 4 hours at the most to find a pile of poo and some pee that was all the mess but I dont understand why Shila is still doing this?
Can anyone think why she would still be doing this?
She is clean over night and I sleep solidly for about 8 hours n get up to no mess and when I was ill a few weeks ago I slept for 12 hours straight got up fearing the worst and again no mess. So it makes me think it is something about us leaving her even though she is not alone anymore.
Any advice?

Re: Why is she messing?

Jem it sounds as if Shila is still a bit anxious about being left despite having Isis.
I think i would probably go back to basics and start from scratch again, by leaving them for 5 mins and then gradually extending the time they were left so she really gets it that your coming back Also i's make sure they were both tired before i left them for longer periods, by a good walk/play etc, in the hope that sleep and Shila forgets your not there. Maybe another trick would be to leave a radio on so she can hear some voices
