Hi
Can anyone tell me - when filling out show entry forms what does it mean when it says Rosette donations etc. Am I meant to pay money for rosettes ?? Not sure about this. The rest of the entry form I think Im ok with.

Hoping to get my pup entered into a show in early Aug - lets hope this one is better than our very first show experience.

The rosette donations bit is just in case you feel like you want to donate money towards the clubs' expenses in buying rosettes - it's not mandatory (in fact I've never donated anything for rosettes in all the years I've been showing) and has nothing to do with whether or not you will get a rosette if (sorry, when ) you win!

You dont have to like Val said - I have supported a few open shows with donations - but I dont donate all the time

I just wasn't sure if I was meant to pay for any rosettes (If I won - ha ha) before hand.

Just thought I would enter her into the North Devon Agricultural Show on 6th August. I was going to enter her for paignton champ show on the same date but after the problems we had at Devon County show, I think I will avoid this one this year, as I know other people who will be going to Paignton - If you get my drift Tashi.
