Crufts qualification

I was wandering if anyone knows the answer to my question.

Today was hound day a Midland Counties. I hadn't entered any of mine as I didn't think the whippet judge would like them I was told she was a bit facey. But I looked at the results earlier and was dissapionted to see that in the greyhound classes there was only 1 dog entered in post grad dog and 1 in post grad bitch. I also noticed that there was only 1 set of cc's allocated. to the best of breed and reserve best of breed. The second set has been taken away at a couple of chaamp shows for greyhounds as they only have low entries.

When this happens is the qualifications for crufts the same as when 2 sets are awarded?

If it is I am dissapionted that OH told me not to bother entering William and Button as both are in the post grad classes and so both could have qualified today. Button is qualified but for the racing and coursing class as she is a registered racer so doesn't need to qualify for this class anyway.

Re: Crufts qualification

Oh boo it would have been nice to qualify William as he's been out of the ring for more or less 2 years. He never missed going to crufts untill I had to stop showing him due to his accident. Now he is well and back ready for the ring and I don't bother entering him. Mind you if I had there would have been 4 in his class and he would have come 4th its just my luck. I forget at Midland Counites we only have 1 set of CC's so there would not be many entered.
