At what age can you start showing?

Sorry I don't know anything about showing, but I'm thinking of showing my puppy. What age do you show puppies from? I presume they have to be old enough to have developed their full features?

Re: At what age can you start showing?

You need to find a ringcraft in your area and here you will train your pup and yourself on what to do in the showring. You can take your pup to these before their 6 months as long as they have had all their jabs. The earlier you take your pup the better as then they get used to all the other dogs and being gone over by judges etc. Hope this helps.

As others have said above six months! If I were you though I would start to stard you dog as soon as possible, even before going to the ringcraft class that has also been suggested.

Re: At what age can you start showing?

as mentioned the pup has to be 6 months on or before the day of the show, I start my pups at ringcraft straight after having their jabs, and make it fun for the pup, you should be able to find a ringcraft class in your area.
