I kept him as far away as I could because the time before she had her bitch who was coming/in season and she was allowing her to stand for Aiden while we were que'd for the table.

I kept having to pull him away from her.

Urgh, why is there not a rule about it.

I'm going to try and get Aiden out and about more (I am limited because of where I live) and try and gain his attention. There is a pouch of cat nip that he lives so I will try using that.

At least he will be on lead so he won't pin the judge up against the wall and bark in his face trying to get him to play like mine did at his first obedience competition

Re: Advice needed because I am really disappointed

I am obviously a total, total novice...but at out last ringcraft Kilo would just not stop mucking about, for me (learning how to handle him) and also for his breeder who handles him every week too and can get him to do anything. He could not focus and wriggled about when people tried to go over him - just wasn't having any of it!

I felt a bit rubbish and apologised but his breeder just said to relax, take him away, rest him for the night and forget all about it as all dogs have bad days. I practised again the day after and he was great for me . Maybe it was just 'one of those things'?
