I'm Kim, A Veterinary Nurse from Northdale Vets in Worthing, West Sussex. As part of our year long fundraising effort for Greek Animal Rescue (GAR) we are again holding our Dog Show on Broadwater Green in Worthing as part of the Broadwater Carnival celebrations.
There are pedigree and novelty classes so there is something for all dogs of every breed, size and age. Also this year we have A Best Dog in Fancy Dress class!!!! Registration for the show starts at 10am and judging begins at 11am. Entry is only £1.50 per class of 4 classes for £5. Please come along and help us support this wonderful charity and the amazing work they do.

Greek Animal Rescue (GAR) is a UK based charity (No:802243) Founded in 1989 in order to alleviate the suffering of animals in Greece by supporting a number of animal shelters, sterilising as many dogs & cats as funds allow and finding homes for the lucky few in the UK and several other EU countries.

In December 2010, a beloved family pet called Zorba – whom all at Northdale Vets came to know and love very well – passed away aged 16 after along fight with lymphoma. Zorba had a wonderful life in the UK after being rescued from Greece. In his memory, we have started up ‘Zorba’s Legacy’ to help raise money for Greek Animal rescue so that many more dogs can experience a loving environment here in the UK, just as Zorba did.
