Re: ESS organised events
Hi James,
You might want to try www.Itsaspringthing whichi s a rescue forum for ESS but has a lot of members and does organise walks etc in many parts of the country. A lot of nice people on there but may I suggest don't talk breeding as it is so focussed on rescue - they all adore puppies though. Also, the English Springer Spaniel Club is holding field trials on Monday December 8 (Open Stake) and Monday December 15 (Novice Stake) around Stoke on Trent, Staffs so probably not too far from you if you want to go and spectate. Further details from Roy Proctor 017827 20486 - you may need to check whether you can take Buster along, some allow non-competing dogs with spectators and others do not. Sgurr |

Re: ESS organised events
Cheers Sgurr, ive joined quite a few of these forums recently and have noticed 'itsaspringething' though found it difficult to use. Will have a go again. The contact is great... will try keep it quiet too about looking for a bitch, there is just a shortage of springers over here to meet so any groups will go down well with Beamish
Keep up the good work Thanks James Last edited by james1; 23-09-2008 at 02:22 PM.. |

Re: ESS organised events
Apologies, Beamish, I'm not very good on remembering names!
You have to enter the forum from the main site as I remember for ItsaSpringthing but OK after that - lots of good recipies on there for home made treats Sgurr |
