i want to enter my staffie in a show - to see how he does! how can i find out about a show coming up that has a SBT category - i am in north east so i am happy to travel but ideally not too far

You need to find a ringcraft class near to you hey will know of any local open shows also look in Dog World or Our Dogs. Most shows are advertised in there. You will need to send your entries of in advance. Remember to get proof of posting then if the entries get lost in the post you can re enter on the day if you don't have one they will not let you enter. Don't think it wont happen to you as it has happend to me n more than one occassion

An Good luck when you find a show to go to don't forget to let us know how you get on

ps If you phone the secratary on the adverts they will tell you what classes youcan enter and snd you a schedule for the show

They are advertised in the Dog Press too,Dog World,Our Dogs these are available from newsagents.

You may find alot of the open shows have mixed classes,or no classes for SBT's but you can always enter him in AVNSC classes for the terriers.

We go to Newark showgroud quite a bit,not sure how far that is from you.

There was another one but i cant find it now....

Most of the Champ shows have a stand with loads of open show schedules.
