Showing in France

I am planning to take Ember to the world show next year, but don't know how to enter! Does she have to be registered with the french KC? The entry form looks a bit complicated
She has got her passport, so that's sorted.

Re: Showing in France

One of my pups (although not a pup any more) lives in France and is in joint ownership with a friend - but still registered with the UK KC at a French address).

If someone doesn't answer your question in the meantime, I will speak to my friend - I know Carys has the basic French KC registration - you can't get full registration unless you go through the conformation test at 18 months (or over) - as her owner has been ill, she hasn't got around to doing it

Carys was shown as a puppy with no issue - so my gut instinct would be the basic registration - I will endeavour to find out.

PS - I 'think' I saw you in the Catalogue today at a show - I did scan before we left but couldn't see any tollers - did you go? and moreover, were you able to park

Re: Showing in France

was entered at birmingham gundog and terrier, but I didn't go. Was at south wales yesterday and got back late, so didn't fancy a 2 1/2 hour drive this morning!
Were mine the only tollers entered?

Yes they were, entries in the gundogs were low all round apart from Pointers.

I did comment to my OH about the distance when I saw where you lived after getting serious grief from him about doing SW yesterday and then Birmingham today

We got there quite early - but the carpark was, um, rather busy by mid morning
