Pet Photography...

Hi All,

I didn't really know where to put this but guessed that this would be the right section.

I live in the Beds area and am looking into pet photographers. Has anyone had any experience with this? Was it a good one? And who did you use?

Thanks!

Re: Pet Photography...

Thanks for that I have sent them an email asking for a full price list. I'm thinking of doing a photoshoot with my OH and our pooch as a christmas present or as next years birthday present

Does anyone else have any recommendations of pet photographers? I have found a few but would like some personal accounts of doing something like this.

Thanks!!

Oh I use a fabby girl Milton Keynes way - ShortDog Photography - Unique Pet Lifestyle Photography

She is brilliant and takes wonderful shots and really captures the dogs personality. She will come to you which is ideal too.

Re: Pet Photography...

Yes very much so, one of my dogs is worried by new people but she was great with him. I thought it would be lots of 'poseing' the dogs but she takes really natural pictures. I'd definately recommend.

Re: Pet Photography...

If you are ever in Lancashire I can do some freelance ones. But I am a bit far out sadly.

Re: Pet Photography...

Sounds very good HWAR Thanks for sharing

Sadly I'm not shetlandlover, but if you know of anyone near beds area I'd love to know. Thinking of having a shoot and then getting a canvas done of the best picture but obviously shopping around for the best price and person

Re: Pet Photography...

Take a look at their portfolio and make sure they've experience working with animals.
It is so different directing a group of guests at a wedding and making animals look their best.

If you look at the local business directories in your area I'm sure you'll find some good ones then look for reviews online. OH and just remember lots of treats when the shoot happends

Re: Pet Photography...

Thanks Georgina1.
I have definately been looking at whether the photographers have experience with pets Our girl can sometimes growl at newcomers so it's definately important that they have experience.
The girl HWAR mentioned spends a lot of time 'Pet Sitting' and specialises in animal photography and I have been in contact with her.
