Hello all.

As some of you may know, my family lost our beloved Shih Tzu on Christmas day. Now we would very much like to take home a new companion. Details follow:

Breed Sought: Any short-haired small breed, cross, English Bull Dog, Pug or pug cross.

Not Sought Not seeking teacup breeds, chihuahua or long haired.

Preferred gender: Male

Colour: Any

Preferred age: 1 - 3 years

Area: Lincoln (we cannot travel easily)

We live in a one bed (ground floor) flat and already have a cat, who is 15 years old. He is active for his age and (obviously) has lived with a dog before. There is ready access an outside (shared) space and this area is secure and off road. Our front area is not secure but is off road. Our pup will NEVER be left alone when out anyway.

I am a wheelchair user and I have carers. I also use a hoist regularly, any pup we have will have to grow accustomed to a wheelchair and noisy hoist, as well as a constant stream of visitors during the day. Obviously, keeping out of the way is quite important too. My partner and I both feel that having dog 1-3 is vital, due to our special circumstances.

Being good with other dogs and cats is also vital because EVERYONE has cats and dogs on our street (most of which I know by name too <333 ) Obviously being laid back and well adjusted would be awesome too.
