she will be getting sprayed in the next few days to stop people getting her just so they can breed her. i payed over 500 for her and 300 is a good offer. i have inquired in taking her with me to work and all is good but may still sell.

sounds like ur trying to get some money back like for a wrong purchase ... just like u would go into a shop and ask for a refund

Contact the german shepherd rescue...! Thats the most responsible thing u own her!

Even though she will be spayed she still is in need of an proper and experienced and most of all FOREVER home and she could always end up by being sold into the wrong hands being continuosly passed on and on or used for the wrong things as for the breed she is !

She has been with you for a week and not even settled and she will uprooted again to someone else and for all you know this could keep on happening to her

I know how this affects dogs. I rescued an English Springer last Decmeber. He was 3 and i am 4th home he has problems and issues due to being passed around so much. Trust me my boy did not derserve this. If i didn't take him he would have sat in shelter with no one wanting him due to his issues.

It was your choice to buy a dog. So please don't sell her. Contact the rescue and they will find her a loving forever home. You are just going to have to accept that the £500 is gone.

Getting her spayed will cost at least £150, and some rescue kennels here are offering neutered dogs (including pedigrees) for under £100.

She is now looking for her 3rd home at a young age - if I was looking for a GSD I would be asking a lot of questions. A rescue is probably your best option - where she can be properly assessed and the perfect home found.

So you're telling me even though you may be able to take her to work you might just go ahead and sell her anyway.

Personally I think you're full of BS telling us she's going to be neutered very soon. I reckon you're going to sell her on to any f***** going not giving a toss about who it is only wanting 'your money back'.

I doubt you paid over £500 because if you had you wouldn't be getting rid of her after a week! If it were me I wouldn't be getting rid of her period.

I will not judge your reasons for re homing her, they are your own. I suspect that she has proven harder work than you anticipated. Puppies can take even the most prepared person by suprise but if you are going to have her spayed that will cost around £150 whereas a rescue will either do it for you or insist the new owner does it. That means if you pay for the spay you stand to make just £150 out of her by selling her.

Seriously i think you need to look in her eyes and ask yourself if it's really worth her potentially ending up in the "wrong" sort of hands or messed up and in rescue in a few months having had multiple homes for what really amounts to a few quid

A girl like yours will fly out the door at a decent rescue as she can't possibly have any serious issues at that age and they will be able to ensure the right long term home is found for her instead of someone who just thinks she looks amazing but hasn't really thought the whole thing through
