What about a retired racing greyhound. Try greyhound rescue or greyhound gap or if you live in an area that has a greyhound race track some of them have their own rehoming schemes I know Yarmouth stadium does.

Re: looking for a young large breed dog

What stupid rules
Obviously invented by a very ignorent person!
I would be more concerned about having a dog in that type of enviroment for the dogs safety rather than the publics.....how many overweight pub dogs have u met....I have met a few!
Also if its a pub that serves food their will be health and safety issues re where the dog has access to.
Also be careful when rehoming an adult as some can come with problems thanks to the previous owner...be prepared to spend lots of time working through them and basic obedience is a must for a dog likely to be amongst lots of familier people and strangers on a daily basis.

Re: looking for a young large breed dog

the dog wont b in the actual pub it will be in her flat up stairs and walked often so it got plenty of exercise and well looked after, and she has plenty of staff who work there so it wouldnt b left alone either as she will have loads of time to spend with it this also means it wouldnt b going anywhere where food would b made or served in the pub so no problem there
