Max, Collie Cross, 14 years old

Max, Collie Cross, 14 years old

His Story: Taken in by his family as a 5 month old feisty pup after being mistreated by his then owners. He has grown up and lived with other dogs and his current companions are 2 Staffies. Family have moved into rented accommodation where they are not allowed to have dogs in the house. Max is 14 yrs old; too old to live outside.

Salient points: Tri-colour Collie. Good all-round dog, conversant with people, children and dogs.

Advert: Max is a small to medium size collie who has been with his family most of his life, but alas now in his old age he is losing his home. Other rescues have only offered the 'final' solution, but we feel Max is at his most loveable stage and are confident a family will come forwards and offer him a corner of the sofa and some tasty food in his bowl.

Max is a lovely and lively elderly Gent. Good off the lead within a pack and still playful with his doggie friends on meeting. His tail has a lot of wag in it and his eyes have heaps of appeal. We have just neutered him, full dental under general anesthetic. Our vets picked up a chronic ear infection which is now treated and improving greatly. So Max is needing a new home as soon as possible as his landlord wants him out. Hell will be standing room only for landlords! Max deserves the best and will get it all with cream on top in his twilight years.

Re: Max, Collie Cross, 14 years old

We are getting some enquiries through for Max, but unfortunately they are all homes with cats! Alas Max cannot live with a cat.
