Gem, 3-5 year old Staffie needs home!
 Her Story: Found stray chipped and spayed, but family unwilling to pay release fee. Salient points: Gem is a slender framed Staffie. Needs companionship of either another dog or an "at home" person. Can jump over high fences to be with someone. Advert: Gem is a gem .. sorry .. is a GEM! A sweet love who wants to please and wants to be with you. She mixes well with dogs and loves attention and affection. Gem is between 3-5 yrs old. She came in very underweight. She has been treated for worms, revax'd and found to be already spayed. Gem is a great dog who is sensitive by nature and needs time offered to her so she understands what is excepted of her, develops recall and settles into new house rules. You look at her and your heart sings "She needs to be looked after with love". She is so pretty and will melt your heart. Looking to find her the very best of forever homes! We found out some time ago that Gem's real name was Missy and she, of course, responded to it so we switched back it!
Oh Missy, it was lovely to meet you again and what a good little girl you were on our walk today with mum.

It's unlikely that she would be able to be homed with cats. She is not tested yet, but we will do. The feeling is that she could be homed with children, but say 10+.
