![]() History: Tara moved from home to home being abandoned with a friend supposedly “just whilst they went on hols”. Six months later the 2 Staffie bitches came into season and, true to form, hormonal tension sparked off a fight ... Tara taking the full force and needing treatment. The 'owner' couldn't afford and couldn't contemplate another fight so took Tara to the vet to be put to sleep. The vet fell in love and promptly repaired her wounds and found us as her rescue place. We are so pleased they did. Salient points: A Staffie love. Good with people, kids and dogs. Just regaining her confidence. Easy Staffie. Advert: Tara is such a love. About 2 years old and very accomplished as an all round LOVE. She is very feminine and very loving. For the Staffie lover on the hunt, looking for a dog who they can offer a stable life to and will in return offer them devoted companionship and lots of licks, she is that dog. Tara is currently getting over kennel cough and then can commence her vax. course. However, she is robust and making very good progress on all fronts. Tara is there in her kennel ready to walk with anyone, ready to enjoy company and strokes. She is finding it hard to understand what has happened with her life that has lead to her current predicament. Tara is an ambassador for her breed; the best of everything. Sorry to bore you, but Tara is special and wouldn't hurt a fly ... just building her confidence up so she doesn't run in the opposite direction! We think she is there! Re: Tara, 1-2 year old Staffie needs home!
has she still not found her forever home then? poor baby
i wish i lived closer, could possibly have talked hubby into taking her (we lost our beloved staffie kai a few months ago after 10 blissful years and hubby hasn't quite got over losing our wonderful boy) but i know one look and he'd be putty in her paws ![]() |

Tara is occupying 'Dawn's' dreams...they meet on Saturday morning. Dawn is hoping she is the one to fill her sad heart since - she lost her Staffie friend Tess at a great age of 13 yrs this week. Tara’s forever home is now with Dawn.
