Jaspa, 18 month old Fell Terrier needs home!
History: Owner couldn't get 100% recall so Jaspa disappointed.
Salient points: Typical Terrier and in our books quite well behaved. Best on extender lead unless closely bonded and away from roads. Good with dogs, but probably only dog. Not cats. Advert: Jaspa is like a Wispa ... delightful to behold, but he differs in that he is good for the figure! Oh yes he'll keep you fit and he is enjoyable to walk. However, best on an extender lead as he spends a lot of time following his nose ... apparently he isn't always attentive to call! But sociable he is, and lots of long walks he needs, so if you think of your evenings as a well earned rest, perhaps go for a less active breed. Jaspa loved his family and lived in a guest house, so had to deal with strangers in and out all the time which usually is a problem for a terrier. Only one reported 'nip' which was just getting over excited. We do caution people not to whip a terrier energy up, as it then becomes out of their control. But let us tell you Jaspa isn't a problem terrier. He is loving and, like his breed, needs firm boundaries and clear messages, so that he knows his place. Jaspa is a Red Fell terrier. A remarkable specimen ... a whow! to meet. His eyes really smile at you. So if you like a terrier with a busy personality who will take you for lovely walks and spend the rest of the evening beside you where ever you are ... this is your man!
