Apologies if this isn't in the right section - feel free to move it if needed.

Since the loss of my beloved border collie Vic back in Sept I've really missed the walks, and companionship and walking on your own is nowhere near as much fun! I'm in rented acommodation so getting another Pup isn't really viable at the moment.
So I got thinking - dangerous I know! - but I thought about volunteering at a rescue centre to walk the dogs?

I have recently moved to Basildon, Essex so I am not very familiar as to where the nearest rescue centre is (google isnt really helping very much) ?
I found of one that I think is near me but the web page no longer works... www.lyntonkennels.com.

So, is this a good idea? Does anyone who lives nearby know of anywhere else I can try, or have a dog I can walk!! lol
