A message from one of our rescues

Willow Dog Rescue is only a small charity run soley by volunteers. We rent our kennels from another rescue but we have to limit the number of kennels we rent due to the funds coming in. At the moment we have 3 kennels, all full and a futher 2 dogs in foster homes.

So that we can save more dogs we are in desperate need for foster homes. We did used to have more foster homes available but they adopted the dogs we saved :doh2: this means we are now running low on foster homes. We mainly rescue dogs from death row at the pound so these dogs can sometimes come with kennel cough. As everyone knows, January is a tough time for rescue dogs as more are given up at this time of year. This is why we want to increase our capacity and rescue more.
