Re: Urgent Home Needed for Rocky

Thank you everyone for all your advice, information and support. I have tried the breed rescues but I am just coming up against a brick wall. There are just too many staffy's out there needing homes and there are not enough spaces/foster carers to cope.

We are managing at the moment, keeping them separated. They can still sniff each other through the baby gates and there has been no aggression and they still sleep next to each other in their crates.

It is in some respects doing them some good to be apart as it is giving me the opportunity to spend more one to one time with them and has enabled me to work on training them a bit more, which is extremely difficut to do when they are together.

Rocky even had a mad two minutes tearing around the room after his kong last night which is most unlike him. He really enjoyed himself. He never usually gets much of an opportunity to play with Jack around. Usually Rocky just sits and watches Jack tearing around like a idiot with a look on his face which says it all.

I would ideally like to find a home myself or a foster carer rather than put him in kennels if possible as some of the dogs in kennels can be there several months and with so much choice in staffy's its a big risk. I am sure though if anyone met him they would fall in love with him straight away though, just one look at those sad eyes and your hooked.
