Cross-Terrier (like small Welsh Terrier) looking for active owner

Beloved Bruce is a Cross-Terrier but looks more like small Welsh Terrier. He is adored by all he meets

He is 5 years old and very smart and sensitive; he easily learns the names of new toys and had huge list of words that he knows. He loves playing hide and seek in the house but he is by nature and outdoor dog. He is very energetic and loves nothing more than to be caked in mud walking or running through woodland or up mountains, he also loves a swim and so he is looking for an active owner who is familiar with Terriers. He is extremely loving and obedient.

His Story: In UK he was bought from a pup and trained and neutered from young age so his manners are very good. We moved to Dubai 3 years ago after researching if it was ok, we decided to take him as our responsibility to make sure he was cared for. In Dubai I worked only part time near lakes and green spaces and as there are many dogs here also it did not take long for him to settle very well. Even with inside activity centers for the months of June and July hot months.

Unfortunately my partner left Dubai 1.5 years ago and I had to move accomodation with no garden but many walks! Eventually I was able to move back to a garden accommodation with a house-mate who worked from home. But my job began demanding more and more business trips and the house-mate has since moved out. Now Bruce has 3 hours care per day and still gets 3-4 walks.

Bruce spends a lot of time with children during my business trips from ages 5 and up but the family is moving from Dubai so after long deliberation I decided to think only of Bruce and his happiness and stability and imagined him back in the woods running and panting with an owner who can really care for his needs, therefore Bruce will be arriving back in the UK in 3 weeks and I will be looking for a permanent home for him within this time. Bruce is my number 1 boy, but to be 100% loving and selfless owner I now need to think of his happiness.

He will be based in Chester until he can find a home
