Homing Requirements: Adaptable and an all rounder with children, dogs and cats. Secure garden with exit management. Willingness to polish his manners outside as needs to settle into formal walks. Would need to live with at least one other dog. Good with cats.

His Story: Etch was owned since a pup and grew up with an older crossbreed and a Yorkie. His owner lived in a caravan but was sent to prison and the dogs have survived in the yard with the caravan opened for shelter. The owner's father came every day, cleaned up and fed them bread and milk. The father became ill so then prepared to take the older dogs and tried in vain to find a rescue place for Etch, being a Staffie. They just couldn't manage all three. Etch is younger and needs a lot more than they can offer. On the strength of our offering a rescue place a couple have taken him into their home with their Husky, Staffie and crossbreed pup. They have a cat and young children and Etch has excelled himself, so they are now willing to hold on to him until his forever home appears. Now neutered, vax'd and chipped.

Advert: Etch is a marvel. In his first year he was loved, socialised well with dogs, cats and people. Since his owner left, the dogs have more or less fended for themselves yet never a cross word between them. Etch has blossomed in foster. His video says it all. His fosterer calls him a dream of a dog. So happy, so considerate and appreciative.

Etch is just 3 years old, a red Staffie with touches of white. A really receptive dog who loves to please and in fact is always Pleased. He loves people especially men. He loves children of all ages and is just so needing his own family which ideally should have at least one other dog. Easily managed in the vets and car. Make it a Match with Etch and you’ll never regret it. Perfect first time Staffie owner dog ... you'll be singing for life!

Would take him like a shot but we are in Somerset so a long way away.

Oh! He is gorgeous! I wish we could take him, but Kaiser is a bit iffy with other male dogs. Hope he finds a great loving family to look after him.
