Neutered: Yes and vaccinated.
Reason for rehoming: Benny is an 2 year old Lhaso Apso who was returned to rescue after both of his owners realising that they were too ill to care for him.
Originally he belonged to an elderly, but she had a family crisis and needed some train fare, so advertised him for £50 on Gumtree.
Luckily he was spotted by a rescue representative and after it was explained how selling dogs like this was so dodgy, she agreed to hand him over to rescue to ensure his safety for the rest of his life.
He went to his new home and was a very much loved dog. They did not want to part with him, but circumstances stated that they had no choice.
Benny has been castrated/fully vaxed/microchipped and he has been wormed and defleaed.
Benny is fine with other dogs, cats and small animals. He is nervous of strangers but it does not take him long to start to trust people.
He would suit a quiet home with no young children and would need to go and live with another dog ideally.
When Benny first arrived in rescue at 18 months old he was a very stressed and noisy boy. Since being with his second owners, they socialised him and he is now an extremely well behaved house dog. He loves to snuggle up with you and is a loyal and happy dog.
He is sad to have lost his mum and dad and this shows, but hopefully he will bounce back quickly after a few days with us.
Lhasa Apso's need regular grooming with trips to the parlour at least every 8 weeks.

A homecheck will be carried out and minimum adoption fee applies.
