Ollie, Staffie - DOB 07

Ollie, Staffie - DOB 07

Homing Requirements: Ollie is fluent with dogs and dog savvy cats so he is looking for a companionship home ideally with another dog. Ollie came in with mange and has fully recovered. Ollie should not be kennelled as a lifestyle choice only in emergencies. Ollie can tail chase when stressed or excited.

His Story: Ollie was left in a vets surgery with his owner muttering she had tried 4 other places. He had little fur on his back legs and lower back. The vet treated him for flea allergy but had to turn him in to the council pound. In kennels he was stressed and tail spinning which suggested this was a behavioural issue related to being left for long periods. Now is foster with one other dog and cats he is more settled and his skin/fur has healed. Ollie been neutered, vax'd and chipped.

Advert: Ollie came to us in a sorry state but his personality shone through like sunshine into our hearts. He likes to be involved and busy. He proved himself to be very happy around dogs. His fosterers seeing his plight came forwards to see if he would settle with their family’s dogs. Oh yes Ollie was very happy, initially excited but now chilled and part of the furniture (literally). He has settled with their "in your face" cats too. Ollie loves the car.

Ollie is a beautiful smallish brindle Staffie. He has shown his true colours in foster as a fun-loving, fun, funny and loving dog! He settles well into new situations and has a settled energy about him in company. He sleeps in a crate overnight in the kitchen. Ollie enjoys his food and is beginning to put weight on which was impossible in kennels. Ollie's future owners will be so lucky...blessed to have him.
