Matilda - Staffy x with Hope Rescue
Matilda is a 2 year old Staffie x and is currently in kennels in South Wales. She is desperately waiting for her new foster or forever home.
![]() ![]() ![]() Matilda was in temporary foster and her write up included “We had the pleasure of Tilly albeit for a short while. Matilda was not aware of her name but by the end of the two weeks she knew her name as Tilly and within 2 weeks she actually outgrew her harness and collar and was certainly looking much better. Tilly is much taller than she looks in her photo and when running up mountains looked from the back to be crossed with a greyhound. Tilly loved the water rivers, sea, swamps, likes baths, liked food, and actually really liked the gerbil. Always came back when called knew commands such as sit and paw. She didn't chew was able to be left alone for a few hours, was very clean in the house no accidents. Travelled well as long as you didn't feed her before hand ! Caution was needed with other dogs and would suit a home with older children, she loved my ex husband (someones got to). We were very sad that Tilly was not able to stay at our home.” ![]() All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. A Pre-Home Interest Form can be downloaded from Home - http://hoperescue.org.uk and should be returned to dogs@hoperescue.org.uk

Re: Matilda - Staffy x with Hope Rescue
I've not posted for a while. Tilly is doing really well, she's such a lovely, affectionate, sweet girl.
She's really calmed down with other dogs now and loves nothing better than visiting Tyla and Pippin the JTR's or having them around the house to play, better still she enjoys running around the fields or woods with Tyla, she becomes quite dejected when they leave now bless her She's responding really well to clicker training, lead work and is proving to be a very attentive an obedient girl. She also loves baths, that's a first in my experience! I'll post more soon but here are some recent photos: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Matilda - Staffy x with Hope Rescue
A huge thanks to all at Hope for the support and all at the GSD Club Of Wales who train us as well as the hounds!
She's become an absolute star now she's had chance to settle. Bright as a button too. Here's a quick snap of Tilly basking in the glory of her bronze (she's actually basking in the glory of a good roll in fox poo also) You can really see the Boxer in here: ![]() And she's learning to play the didgeridoo ![]()
