Lab cross rescue pup
My friends have just adopted a 10 week old lab cross who was being fostered through the rescue charity Many Tears. The story behind him is that he and his brother were picked up by a pound and were days away from being destroyed. He has been with the fosterer for a few weeks and has been very well looked after. My friend drove four hours on Saturday to pick him up; it was sad leaving his brother but they are pleased to have given this little chap a comfy home. His new name is Riley and he is gorgeous. My mate is chuffed to bits as he can already sit and is almost toilet trained
 Well today he was brought around to start some good socialising with his new mate Zach (well, once I had let him go for a few mins - couldn't stop cuddling him!!!). He was a little scared at first but soon made himself at home, stealing Zach's huge rawhide chews and making himself comfy in his bed  Zach is such a pansy he just stood there with his tail wagging watching him! They even had a good game of tug, I was so proud of my boy for being so gentle to the little guy. I think it is the start of a good friendship Riley looking a little like a Womble!  Hello little dude  Ooh, this is nice and comfy  Ah, they've even provided refreshments  Tanning  Mum, he's taken it again  Hey...  Yum  Come on lets see what you're made of...     Buddies  Don't get too broody... his brother is still available

Aaawww!! What a fab time they both had, and what a big softie your fella is!
I love the pup he reminds of Matrix at that age. I think you are right, the start of a great friendship to come!
