... here is my faithful hound Zeb. He was PTS on April 1st with severe kidney failure at 13, but still bounded around till the bitter end. He was a dream of a dog and will live on forever... everyone loved him, there was just something about that boy!!!








and even though he was bitterly poorly, he was still active, shiny, wet nosed till the bitter end. These are pics of the Sunday before D Day on the Tuesday... you can see where the UVs had been on the last pic and he was bitterly thin

Aw so sorry to hear about the loss of ur dear boy, He was a beautifull looking dog

The only thing about owning pets is when that time comes and we have to say goodbye, breaks ur heart in two .

Thanks for your kind comments... and doesn't it just At least I have wonderful memories and would rather have known him that not. It sucks that they aren't around for long though... It truly was the hardest thing I've ever done - to hold him whilst he was being PTS but I was pleased he was out on a run 10 mins beforehand and managed to eat bacon and eggs, which is the first time he'd eaten rich food in weeks. I am trying to avoid thinking of what it will be like with the horse

Thats so sad and to hold him wile he was pts must of been so hard.

but at least you know u gave him the best possible loving home he could wish for and you should be proud of yaself for giving him that.
As you said, we will always have the memorys and they will neva ever be forgotton.

Wow, he really was a stunning boy! You can see just from the pics that he was a great character! Your story brought a tear to my eye.

he was a lovely looking dog,,,and yes i agree,, its so sad they cant be with us forever,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and that we have to say goodbye,,,,,,,,,,,,,but im sure he had a great life with you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

He really was, thanks!!!!! Until he got painfully thin about 3 months ago, everyone thought he was years younger. He had so much energy and great movement even till the bitter end... He was a smiler!!!





This was two days before Rainbow Bridge Day We even thought about calling it off at one point as he got so much better in the last few days... but we knew it would happen again and better that he wasn't ill when it happened etc
