Yeah, we got her on Friday from the pound We spoke to the dog warden yesterday that picked her up (my dad rang her about a free microchipping thing that the council are doing, and he was telling her about her when the dog warden said she remembered picking her up and wanted to come and see her ) and she said what had happened is that a guy who was known to them for treating dogs badly had 'borrowed' her from a friend to use for badger baiting, and when they sent her down a sett, she was attacked by one. She was covered in scars and the dog warden said the bottom of her jaw was practically hanging off the guy that had her was seen with his friends laughing at her injuries and taking pictures of them on their phones but thankfully, someone in the area saw what was going on (or maybe knew the guy, im not sure) and they stole her from him and took her to the vets, who cleared up all her wounds and then the dog warden picked her up and she was taken to the rescue (well, it's techincally a pound - the council take the dogs there and they have their 7 days, but they do re-home as well) which is where we got her from

The dog warden said the guy that had her has been sent to jail since for something unrelated, and she said he won't be out for quite a while, so she's safe from him now

OMG the poor little thing! People make me sick, they really do. I'm glad he's in jail! He deserves to be there after doing that.
Well done you for taking her on *blobs for ya!* she looks a little sweetheart

aww so lovely to see Ruby safe & loved now bless her,how could anyone treat her so bad... they are both Adorable! Portiaxxx

Ruby looks a real sweetheart, and seems to be settling in.
I love Tigers big smile.
It's good to see them getting on so well.
Having 2 dogs is more than double the fun
