Re: Forest & river walks

It was lovely here as well, really nice & sunny.

No pics of my walk though, just two tired, wet dogs (they both had a swim)

I think I know that walk! My friends live in Lockerbie, (Vendace Drive) and when I used to visit them we'd spend hours walking our dogs around, ending up at the cafe in Lockerbie High Street for breakfast and then a walk home!

Their house overlooks a loch, with the Moffat mountains at the other end. I house-sit for them sometimes (a tough job as you can imagine) and I sit in the arm-chair overlooking the loch and the mountains..... and they PAY me for doing it!

It's just across the road from the cemetery and remembrance garden. It's Eskrigg nature reserve.

You will have to let me know next time you are up here and we can meet for a walk.

Flints frown still hasn't gone completely, is he acting any differently than before his night out?
It's been stupidly hot here today

Gorgeous boys as always

Glad you had some weather, it's been horrible down here for past few days - grey & very damp not nice at all.

Ah, it's not quite where I thought it was, but I know the area you're talking about. My friends have a flatcoat, he's called Major (the dog) and they walk all over the area with him, in all weathers should you ever bump into them! The nicest people you could ever wish to meet.
