Great pics and lovely looking dogs, looks a really nice place to walk.

Was showing my husband the pics of the dogs playing, showing him that ours are playing not fighting with the bared teeth, ours only do it indoors and he worries!

Just going to say the same thing! I was going to take Bumby to the beach but the tide was in

What sort of place was the walk? Do you go there regularly?

I would love to take Craven to the beach and let him off,as I used to live at Morecambe and my last dog spent all his time on the beach.Unfortunately Craven is a typical hound and will just run off if he hasn't got another dog to occupy him.
The place we go is excellent for Craven as there are always lots of dogs for him to play with. It's 3 big fields all next to each other 2 are playing fields(with football pitches on) and the other is rough grass with a path round,it is also next to the river which has a walk along it,but there are usually cyclists on there so I stay on the fields.
The only problem is the fields are not secure and Craven has been known to go out of the fields, walk down to the footbridge and go to the fields on the other side of the river.Although he hasn't done that for about 3 months now.
We go there most days so Craven has some off lead playtime.

That's why I like the beach! Lots of other dogs to entertain him. I feel bad because he lives with cats and rabbits so I think it's nice for him to have other dogs to play with

Just noticed you live in Dumfries - anywhere near the village of Thornhill?

Also I sort of 'trust' the beach - I tend to think if there's kids around people will only let friendly dogs off the lead so I'm happy to let him meet everyone

ps - good boy for not escaping! *pets*
