Cassie

Just wanted to share some pics of my dog Cassie, she had to be PTS on the 29th of Feb, 2008 at the grand old age of 17! She was an incredibly sweet dog who I loved to bits, she was a Collie crossed with a Lab

Sorry for the massive amount of pics

Re: Cassie

She was a lovely dog, we got her from a rescue centre when she was 8 or so. She has been badly treated and was taken from her owners by the RSPCA She was a very content dog with us though, she was my shadow

She looks like a lovely lovely dog.

She was a lucky girl that ended up in a loving family after being mistreated by their previous owners.

She died old and I'm sure she was very happy the days she was with you.

I volunteer at a dog charity and I know how much these dogs need people like you.

Aww thank you. She was an old lass, she was perfectly healthy up until her last week as well. Except for a rash on her tummy when we rescued her that is. I think thats why she was a bit bald on her tummy.

She was an amazing dog and so gentle. I used to hold a smarty between my lips and she'd take it from me with her front teeth, hardly touching me. Was sooo cute

Re: Cassie

My dog Poli was a rescued dog. In fact he was a street dog.
He was living in a building site and my parents decided to adopt him.
We got told that he was the only one to survive of a litter of 8 puppies.

He died old, at night in our garden, when he was 16 years old.

We were sad to lose him but we know he was a very happy dog the days he lived with us
