Re: Craven's doggy friends

Thanks everybody, days like that are special.

Craven is a Foxhound with 'selective hearing'So to see him running and playing for over an hour off the lead is a great feeling.

Although he did disappear onto one of the other fields for about 10 minutes, but that is an improvement as before he used to just go out the park, up the road and across the footbridge into the park on the otherside of the river.

Craven is coming up to 2,I got him last March and was told he was about 1, unfortunately no one knows his exact age as he was rescued by the a Foxhound welfare from being PTS from a dog pound in late 2009.

I grew up with Beagles he yes he has all the Beagle traits, just a lot taller.Which does make him easier to spot when he does wander.

He is happiest when playing with other dogs, and that is the only time I let him off at the moment,as he will stay and play,I can read him better now and can usually get him back on the lead before he heads off looking for other dogs to play with.
