So i am ready now to get another husky puppy, after my 7 week old husky pup "Wolf" passed away 3 weeks ago(horrible experience...here's the link for his pics and story( Pictures of "Wolf" (R.I.P), my 7 week old short-lived husky puppy...... )

So we went to the breeder today to look at 2 male pups from the new litter:

Now, as u notice in the pic below, the black pup has a gigantic head and it's noticeably HUGE for a 15 days old pup! And i really think it can grow up to be a show quality male !

BUT HIS MASK SEEMS TO HAVE A FAULT ( the mask's eye lines are not even)....


But the breeder said not to judge now and comeback when the pups reach 40 days and take a look again, MAYBE the mask lines will grow to be even by then....

Both pups have piercing blue eyes.

What do u guys think?? and what do u think of the other pup in the pic? which one should i get?

Well the piccys to me are not too good all round, but from what I can see I would say the one in the foreground!!
(you could always take them both)

I do not know anything of your breed with relation to showing, the breeder is speaking truelly when she says take a look at around 8 weeks, I know breeders who keep two of a litter if they are not sure and do not make the final decision until the pups are about 4 month.

My youngest (got her 15 weeks) the aim was to show, the breeder had been standing her every day for a few minutes, I was considering showing BUT have decided on tracking instead, and at 15 months may look at agility (if I can keep up with her)

Hey Sue))). Well no no, i am definatly not looking forward to use it for showing lol. But i meant that the black pup is HUGE compared to the rest of the whole litter. Its head is just gigantic!
And yeah, i couldnt take any more pics because the breeder said he needs to get them back to their mom...
Only if those mask lines were perfectly even((((((

I have just read with sadness your post relating to the shot the vet gave, have you said anything to your vet about this, has it been proved, has the vet accepted responsibilty. Please don't think I am trying to be cruel or nasty, just find this very worrying that a vet could adminetrate medication with such devastating results.

THe vet did what he had to do at that time...."wolf" had high temperature and was pissing blood. But the timing how Wolf passed away within 10 minutes of the shot made us debate that maybe that's what killed him((((.
Also, during that day, the temperature was very hot and wolf had to suffer from that too....
A horrific day that I AM TRYING TO FORGET!!

is this a genuine breeder you are considering buying the puppy from as that shed in the background dosent look to good to me, are the dogs kept in there for the man to be holding them outside it???

I am sorry I brought it up honey, the last thing I would want to do is to bring bad memories of that terrible day. But remember, no-one here wants you to have to go through anything like that again, that is why we ask these questions.

i show huskies & it really dosent matter if the markings are not symetrical & all colours are allowed in the breed standard, so when you go back to see them if he is the one you want dont let his markings put you off as they are acceptable. Good luck with whoever you choose
