Todd's Day Out
Today was the South Uist Games, and I treated Todd to a day out! We don't go to days out very often, so its nice for him to get out. He's such a social dog, loves people and other dogs, so he really enjoyed himself. Breagha is getting on now and she wouldn't have been able to walk as much as we did today.
Todd loves walking round the circle, lots of kids dropping hotdogs, burgers, ice cream cones etc, he was just hoovering. Plus the field is right by the beach, so you have dunes (full of rabbit holes!) and then the beach. When he got a bit bored of walking round the games, we walked further out, went all through the dunes, and then down onto the beach. With my sister (and you can see the gorgeous little pink nosed collie pup in the background, what a darling he was!):  Pulling to get down to the beach (his lead was doubled up to shorten it a bit while we were walking amongst people, I didn't want people to trip on it!):  Wishing I would hurry up onto the beach:  The beach  Walking along the top of the dunes:  The dunes:  Where are the bunnies?:  Come out come out wherever you are bunnies!:  Walking back to the games:

He was pretty tired after our walk, so we went back to the car, and he just had a little sleep. It wasn't hot, I don't think he panted at all during the day, and I stayed with him with all the doors open anyway, so don't worry about him being in the car!
Having a rest in the car:   Then while I took photos of my sister at the highland dancing prizegiving, he just chilled at my feet:    And right now...he's tired!
