Garlic

Do any of you give your dogs garlic?? I heard it was good to use to help repel fleas....is this so???

If given to your dogs, in what form - tablets, natural garlic, paste etc

I have heard its good for fleas as well but I have never given any of mine Garlic as they are hairless and never had fleas

pure tea tree oil is a very good flea repellant too, just put a few dabs on the dogs coat?

there was a thread put on a while ago that had a link for poisonous things for dogs onions and garlic were 2 of them!!! mine have always had leftover spag bol with loads of both in.

in the book of give your dog a bone,
onions you dont feed your dog for that reason but garlic is ok to give them.

i feed mine garlic powder that i get from a horse supplies shop, and they dont get the garlic breath lol
