My poorly babies

I did put a post on here about the dogs and how they have had a really bad cough the past few days and they went to the vets this morning so I just thought i'd let you know how they are.
Right both dogs were extremely good in the car even though they were banished to the car incase they infected other dogs at the vets.
After a close inspection of Shila who was extremly well behaved I might add and sticking a thermometer up her bum which she did not appreciate he said she had a bad dose of kennel cough but apart from that looked good.
Took her to the car and brought Isis out and his first words were "they're like chalk n cheese " she was everywhere sniffing n whinging and trying to get on his table then he listened to her chest n what did she do? She started licking his knackers! I could have cried of embaressment.
He said because she is so highly strung ( really never noticed ) that she may never be a fatty but in every other way is in good health BUT she is a carrier for kennel cough so they are both on pills and Isis has some cream for her eye as its still manky.
Just thought i'd let u all know how it went xx

Re: My poorly babies

Sounds like it was a fun trip!

Glad you discovered what it was though.
Its a nasty cough that can take a while to shift.
I find if they do get it they have some immunity to it from then on so it may never return. `

I dont know whats happening with her at the min hun, we have a few good days then have a really really bad few days.
Dont get me wrong she's a spot on little girl but when we have a bad day i doubt that i am the right owner for her. Dont get me wrong she's not neglected or anything and she has a good life here but her husky traits are sometimes to much for me to handle as i've never had a husky or even a husky mix before. x
