More runny poo issues!!!!

Lots of talk at moment bout upset tums etc so i thought i'd join in. Noticed one of the pups(5 weeks today) has loose poo's (he's not going any more than normal and is eating & drinking and playing etc). The rest of the litter are all fine. At the moment they are on James wellbeloved puppy twice aday & ready brek/puppy porridge 2x aday. (the JWB was started 1 week ago)
Ive done some research and found some dogs dont take to JWB food and wondered if i should put this one pup on something else.
Any ideas or advice

(just to add they have all been wormed at 2 & 4 weeks)

Re: More runny poo issues!!!!

i would say, if you decide to change his food then do it graduely, if you just change it to something new it will probably make him worse.hope this helps.

Re: More runny poo issues!!!!

when we wean ours if we have any like this (it is normally the transition from mum to 'hard' food) we sprinkle some dorwest tree bark powder - if you havent got that if you have a good health food shop nearby either slippery elm or put some colloidaly silver in their water just helps settle their tums. We have for sometime used RC as what you wean the pups onto you feed to mum from 5 weeks in whelp so it is in her milk and we (touch wood) havent had so many weaning probs, we also dont do the ready brek thing any longer you just soak the food into a porridge and this is what they have 4 times a day.
