Doggy got really bad poops

I was just wondering if i can give my dog Turkey instead of chicken with his rice? Poor mutley He has a really explosive tummy right now and i have been told to give him boiled chicken and rice.

Also any tips on how to get a green (supposed to be white) german shepherd clean would be greatly appreciated. When we try to wash him he runs off or jumps up or tries to bite us.

Re: Doggy got really bad poops

I have always been advised not to give dogs turkey - too high in uric acid for dogs. People for instance who suffer from gout do not eat turkey for this reason.

Chicken is your best bet.

Its not the food he has been eating as he was fine before, we have been told he probably has a bit of a bug.

We have given him the frozen dog chicken stuff from Kennelgate? and he has been to a groomers to have a wash and is now all pretty and fluffy again bless him.
