Neutering question

My husband doesn't think that it is necessary to neuter our future Pikengese puppy, Khan. I am uncertain. I have read mixed reports that they can be more aggressive if they aren't neutered. It sounds like a painful and unpleasent process, poor pup, but will he be better off in the long run being neutered? Or would it be better to leave him all of his male bits? Khan does not have a pedigree, so I doubt folks will want him for breeding purposes.

I just want to do what is best for him. Thoughts/opinions?

Re: Neutering question

There are benefits for and against neutering ther have been threads on this subject if you want to search for them , I would maybe sudgest waiting to see how he devellops with his personality first , Most vets wont neuter befor 9 months as this allows them to fully mature , if he is to be your only dog then maybe he can stay complete . Ask your vet as he gets older about the pros and cons with the breed or research the breed to see if any significant problems can arrise from things such as prostate cancer ect .
