Re: feeding the pup
I've always been told that feeding your dog Bakers is like feeding your kids a diet of McDonalds & Smarties everyday as its full of additives.
We feed our 2 on James Wellbeloved and a few of my friends feed theirs Burns. Both these brands are hypo-allegenic natural complete foods and are much better for your dogs wellbeing as well as their coat and breath .Our first pup came to us having been weaned on Bakers and our second came to us having been weaned on Pedigree. Both the pups had discusting breath and signs of hypoactivity which both went away within a matter of days after going on to JWB. Also our eldest suffers from skin allergies which we have seen no sign of since being on this brand too. These brands do good Puppy, Junior, Adult & Senior stages of complete food too. |

Re: feeding the pup
Heck - Are you guys serious about living a a dry diet? I hope my owners don't read this as at the moment I'm fed on Bakers pup meal mixed with Pedigree Puppie meat. Now, don't get me wrong I like the meal but just LOVE the meat! I'm not sure I could go without?
Reaing this does worry slightly me though as I want to grow up big and strong and I know Mummy won't come near me if I have smelly breath. Perhaps have a look at this JWB stuff. |

![]() But 95% of each meal is dry complete, the other 5% is just a "sweetner" for them. I seriously would get your owners to think about coming off Bakers though. |
