Re: Drinkwell water fountain for BIG DOGS

Marmite - I've heard it used as well for dogs that won't drink enough. I know mine love marmite. Also heard mixing a wee bit off water that a meat has been boiled in with drinking water. Again not sure if this is appropriate for Scarlet's condition.
Basset thanks for the well wishes. Indie, Margot's Mum wasn't ours but Margot's breeder, however she did feel like family.

Re: Drinkwell water fountain for BIG DOGS

Oh I like it. Worried about the risk of bloat though I could do with something like this too as my 3 go through water so fast and I use 1 mason cash bowl (largest size) and a medium size steel bowl

Don't give marmite all the time, just to boost the water intake a couple of times a week.
If they think water should taste like that, they start leaving the normal water
