Re: puppys stomach swolen

Agree, bloat would be my first thought, especially as he is a GSD and if it is that, it is an emergency.

Here is some info

Bloat in Dogs

Could also be wormy though, especially considering the situation in which he was brought up as a pup. (If I remember rightly!)

Re: puppys stomach swolen

hi guys have phoned the vet and she said it is probably his dry puppy food and he drank a lot of water so it has probably swelled up in his stomach but just gotta keep an eye on him and he is passing both poo and wee so she said if it was a blockage he wouldnt be able to do that, he was also wormed recently too so just gonna watch him tonight and hopefully it will go down if not will call the vet back

Sorry, I'm not sure if I have you confused with someone else. Someone on here recently got a GSD that was reared by someone who's father had died. Was that you?
