Re: Colitus/Food Help

You could try Acidophilus its a capsule you can buy from holland and barrats or any good online health food shop its a capsule full of good bacteria the same as what is in the yogurts just pop one on his food . Yogurt and Dairy can cause runny tum problems if it is a trigger for him, untill you give it you wont know if it may make it worse so the capsule avoids the dairy ,

Re: Colitus/Food Help

I have been reading this with interest. I am a human sufferer of colitis and I think my puppy is showing signs of it. She has been diagnosed with compylobacter but after a week on the anti-biotics, doesn't seem to showing improvement. I currently feed her on Burns puppy complete food. Do you think it culd be worth trying switching her to Burgess Supadog Wellbeing for puppies? Or would the ingredients be similar to Burns? She's 14 weeks old and has suffered from this for about 5 weeks.
