Dear Pet Forum Community,
My Cocker Spaniel - named "Carlo" is 9yr. old dog... He cough, and after that has a short inpulse as vomiting but he doesnt't vomit anything...sometimes has fast breathing like not having enough air accompaned with something like small whisteling Doc. says that he have a "small" bronchitis because of extended heart (as seen on Rendtgen pic. ) /or vice versa?/. He is also...a little bit...FAT.vets said that the extended heart can be also cosed by the overmuch weight Any therapy or second diagnostic opinion ? Can YOU HELP HIM, pls, tell me...what to do ?? Hello, I would say go with the vets advice. Coughing can be caused by being overweight in what is called a "Tracheal Collapse". Your vet is the only one who has seen the dog in the flesh so to speak, so he or she will give the best advice.
