Blood on willy. Please help!

This morning i got up and found blood on Mack's bed. He must have been humping his bed coz it was in the middle of the floor. Anyway i checked both Rosie and Mack becasue rosie sometimes lays in his bed.

Then i realised little drops n bloodon the wood floor. So i laid Mack down and checked him and found a smudge of bloodon his belly. I wiped it away but there was no wound or anything, and then i thought to check his..Manly bits.. and there's blood on it. Like coming from inside, it looks fresh and i can't tell if it's still bleeding.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? I hope he's just hurt it and it's not in his pee or anything but i'm really worried!

Re: Blood on willy. Please help!

It might be a urine infection, or it could be a cyst or tumour on his prostate gland (especially if he is an older dog). Either way, I think you should take him to a vet to get him checked out - got my fingers crossed for you and him that it's nothing nasty Let us know what happens.

Re: Blood on willy. Please help!

ok well i'll have to wait untill tonight because my mam will have to pay since i can't afford a dog at the vets. I'll ring her now and try and get her to take him. He seems ok and it doesn't seem sore but im still worried because i don't know how he could have injured it

I'll keep you all posted.

Re: Blood on willy. Please help!

Only things other than a hiden injury I can think of are an infection in his urethra or prostate disease. I would definatly get him to the vets as soon as possible.

Re: Blood on willy. Please help!

I'm going to get an appointment for half 4, it's not stopped bleeding but its not pouring its just staying in his bits lol.

He's neutered so that has helped stop some diseases.
