Question worming your dog

i have a rescue shihtzu called chaz who is 5

i gave him a working tablet a few days back and he seems to now be pooing a jelly, stringy like substance... do you think he has worms? or is it just the tablets affecting his tummy?

Re: worming your dog

Dead worms coming otu after worming is kind of a good thing. That is what is supposed to happen. If they are alive, that is when you've got a problem.

i woudl probably just worm again in 4 weeks, then 4 weeks after again with something good like Milbemax.
