What fruit ?

Im new here (and to raising a puppy) and ive been reading a few threads and time after time ive read about owners feeding their dogs fruit

Toffee is currently eating pedigree puppy food & mixer ... he has his Kong with the stuff'n and the normal puppy treats ... would it be ok to give him fruit , and if so , what is best to give and are there any I should avoid giving him ?

Thanks

avoid grapes and acidy fruits like lemons, oranges etc... apples, pears, kiwi, banana, berries, anything like that

Re: What fruit ?

we give our labs Apples, pears, banannas ,plums, you must take the seeds out of apples and pears they are toxic to dogs , and dont give too much as if your pup isnt used to them you could be clearing up very soft poo , Also try raw carrot great as a soother for gums if teathing , we feed raw meat and pulped veg veg can be anything green and leafy , cabbage, spinach, brocoli , if feeding its best to pulp it with a mixer as it is digested better . and remember to introduce 1 new foos at a time .

Re: What fruit ?

Avocado, grapes and raisins are the ones to avoid. Everything else is ok, Izzy wont touch fruit unless its liquidized or mushed
