Re: Worming pups

If you have Drontal, follow the instructions on the pack and worm at 2,4,6,8, 10, 12 weeks, then monthly until 6 months.

When you say your bitch was wormed 'post whelping' do you mean since she has given birth?

Re: Worming pups

i usually use panacur paste or liquid for pups and kitts as its easier to syringe down rather than a tabletagree with jackson on the 2,4,6,8,+ rule.

Re: Worming pups

I do mine at 3, 5 & 7 weeks and then they have a week to settle in their new homes before the owners have to give them a worming. My puppies dont go to their new homes until they are 8 weeks old.

I find this works for me and is what my vet advised and I use Drontal puppy as well

If the bitch wasn't wormed whilst in whelp, I would stick to worming the pups every two weeks. Check with your vet it is Ok togive the Drontal to a lactating bitch.
