Re: worms in poo

lady_r0gue, I'm not sure, but you know what they say there's nowt so queer as... LOL

Ivan, DO NOT TAKE DRONTAL!! Don't panic. It's unlikely you managed to catch worms. If you are worried, as lady_r0gue says speak to a doctor about it - they can give you some medicine designed for PEOPLE! But I wouldn't worry.

Re: worms in poo

It would seem so, but at the same time an Eastern European (Ivan fits) coming to the UK to work as a farm labourer (again, fits) might not necessarily have the same knowledge on such practices as we do. Benefit of the doubt just in case, I think.

Ivan, are you asking whether you should change your bird's perch because it has poo on it, or what? I don't quite understand lol If you are, then yes - just change it. Simple really?! You work on a farm - cut some nice Hazel branches or similar and use those. Natural, better for the bird's feet, they look nicer and they're FREE.

I'm not laughing mate. You've done what you can now, so just see what happens. If Posh still has worms in her poo in a couple of days, go back to the vet and tell them. Posh might need another treatment, but probably it's all OK and she just had so many worms the dead and dying ones are still coming out of her now the Drontal is working.

Whereabouts in the North West are you? Your farm doesn't want any pests removing free of charge (rats, rabbits, foxes, or suchlike) does it? I'm fully insured.
